Lose Fat Gain Muscle
If you don't enjoy your weight loss program you are going to make things really hard for yourself in the
long-term. If your aim is to lose fat, gain muscle and actually take pleasure in the process then think outside the
square.
Don't beleive that eating healthy food will always mean you feel constantly starved. However , at the start of a
diet you may feel a bit this way as it takes a bit of time for the body to adjust to not getting so much
low-quality bulk food.
Drinking water helps
If you drink a lot of water it can help you deal with this short time that the body needs to adjust to it's new
regime.
Generally people know that exercising is an important part of weight loss, but a lot of the same people don't
want to start exercising. Exercise is not necessarily easy for some obese people. Saying that, everyone can find at
least one type of activity that suits them and is safe.
Walking, swimming and cycling are all kinds of exercise that are low impact and are really good for weight loss
and improving fitness.
All of them increase your metabolism which in turn burns up fat on your body. Swimming in particular is very good
for people who are overweight to the extent that they find walking difficult.
How about Nordic walking?
Nordic walking is something that has become popular recently and there are two reasons for this.
Number one is that you use poles to assit you when walking and so you use the muscles of your upper body more
than by walking normally. You can lose fat, gain muscle and enjoy it.
And also the use of poles helps you to lessen the stress and impact on you hip and knee joints as you walk. This
is great news for overweight people whose size really puts a strain on their joints.
Is no wonder that Nordic walking is becoming one of the most popular forms of exercise throughout the
country.
